Practical website work
Technical SEO checks with clear limits
Before polishing a page, make sure people and search tools can reach the version you intend.

Check discovery first
A useful page needs a working address and a path from the rest of your website. Review internal links, sitemap entries, index directives and canonical signals together. A sitemap is a discovery aid, not a guarantee of indexing. A page in a sitemap can still be blocked, duplicated or too unclear to be a useful result.
Separate responses from assumptions
A 404 or 410 is different from a timeout, access restriction or temporary server error. VL keeps unknown states explicit. Redirect chains, shared titles and unreadable HTML are review findings, not automatic proof that a site cannot rank. JavaScript delivery and hosting rules may need platform-specific investigation.
Fix the cause you can verify
For a broken internal link, choose a relevant destination and test the path. For a canonical conflict, establish which page should be primary before changing tags. Do not create hundreds of redirects or technical changes simply because a report contains many rows. Start with a bounded fix and retain a record of the original state.
